Left-wing lawmakers now THREATENING the U.S. Supreme Court to support more gun control… this is pure TYRANNY

If you ever wanted a glimpse into what actual tyranny looks like, all you need to do is start paying a little more attention to the way Democrats approach issues.
To them, political solutions do not revolve around our founding principles. They don’t involve operating within the parameters and confines of the Constitution. There is no compromise with political opponents.
It’s nothing but blunt-force policymaking; it’s a ‘my way or the highway’ mindset. It’s ‘do as I say, or else.’
It’s rule by tyranny, in other words, and this was perfectly demonstrated, once again, by Democrats this week in a letter sent to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.), The National Sentinel reports, filed a brief with SCOTUS threatening the high court with “reorganization” if justices refused to uphold a New York City gun control law.
“The Supreme Court is not well. And the people know it,” he argued in his brief. “Perhaps the court can heal itself before the public demands it be ‘restructured in order to reduce the influence of politics.’ Particularly on the urgent issue of gun control, a nation desperately needs it to heal.”
“Out in the real world, Americans are murdered each day with firearms in classrooms or movie theaters or churches or city streets, and a generation of preschoolers is being trained in active-shooter survival drills,” he wrote. “In the cloistered confines of this court, and notwithstanding the public imperatives of these massacres, the NRA and its allies brashly presume, in word and deed, that they have a friendly audience for their ‘project.’”
Sheldon then cited, without context, a Quinnipiac University survey in which 55 percent of respondents said they viewed the Supreme Court as “too political” in further making a case that in a future in which Democrats are in control of Congress and the White House, they would likely ‘fix’ the problem by dramatically expanding the court — and ‘politicizing’ it further by packing it with Left-wing activists pretending to be judges.
Such hypocrisy on the Left — they don’t want to govern, they want to RULE
And at that point, we may as well kiss the Constitution goodbye because, without a second American Revolution, it would effectively be rendered moot.
All gun control, no matter now restrictive, would become ‘constitutional,’ the Second Amendment’s “shall not be infringed” clause be damned.
Political speech? Sure — as long as you agreed with Democrats and their Left-wing lackeys. If not, well, you would be sanctioned for ‘inciting violence’ and using ‘hate speech,’ and a packed libtard Supreme Court would agree your punishment is ‘constitutional.’
Violate constitutional protections against unreasonable searched and seizures? We’re already there; “red flag” gun control laws allow courts to empower police to confiscate firearms of persons deemed, by telepathy, to be on the verge of doing something harmful to themselves or to others, but without having actually committed a crime yet. So much for due process while we’re at it.
And yet, notice that when POTUS Donald Trump criticized federal judges early in his term, he was pilloried by the garbage Left-wing media and their Democrat allies. CNN described the criticism as an ‘unprecedented attack’ on an independent branch of government!
However, when President Obama — during a State of the Union Address on national television — called out the Supreme Court for the way it ruled in the “Citizens United” case (which found corporations were like ‘persons’ and could give money to political action committees), not a single Democrat batted an eye. Not a single establishment libtard media outlet called him out for criticizing an “independent branch” of government.
The Democrats are the party of tyranny, period. If they don’t get their way, they threaten to change the rules and change the system so they always win. That’s not governing, that’s authoritarianism — and it’s about as un-American as it gets.
